Prospectus for Academic Year 2013-14 for Jr Kindergarten and Std 1

Important Dates and Ages

All information which is NOT available now will be in the Admission Prospectus which will be available from early December onwards.

• Application for admission are to be made on the prescribed form.

• Junior KG admission forms are made available from early December (for admissions to the next academic year which starts in June).

• Std 1 admission forms are also available in December.

• Admissions to Jr KG and Std 1 are conducted and completed in 1st and 2nd week Jan (approx)

• There will be NO admission to Sr KG. Please do not inquire. Any vacancies that occur after April will be offered to transfer cases. At this time there are no vacancies for Sr. KG.
  
  For admission to any other class please contact us towards the end of MAY. Admission tests are carried out in end-May or early June.

Ages:

• A child seeking admission to Jr. Kg. must be 4 years to 5 years as on 1st of June of the academic year. (The original Birth Certificate will be required for verification).

• A child seeking admission to Std 1  must be 6 years to 7 years as on 1st of June of the academic year. (The original Birth Certificate will be required for verification).
• We prefer children to be age appropriate in all classes.

• For admission to the higher classes you will have to submit a School Leaving Certificate along with a photocopy of the last report card.

• For Std.2 and above, a general proficiency test will be conducted in English and Math (and Hindi for Std 5 & above) and admission will be given on the basis of merit .

• We will give weightage to school reports from earlier classes.
