Std 1 Admissions: First List

Dear Parents,

We are happy to accept your applications for your child's admission to Vidya Valley School.

We welcome your child to Vidya Valley.

Children have been admitted on the basis of their performance during the test.

We will put out a second list on Thursday, 28th Jan. We need to complete the formalities for admissions from the first list by then. Vacant seats will be offered to the second list.

26th Jan: We have a number of official functions related to the Republic Day and the Graduation Ceremonies for our Std 10. The school office will be closed on 26th Jan.

Some of you may not be interested any longer in accepting the admission. Please do send us an e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) from your registered e-mail id as a courtesy to others so that we can offer the seat to another child.

FEES:

You ought to have read the section on Fees & Payments in the prospectus on our website. You can click here to read that again.

If you are accepting the admission, then you need to pay the one time fee:

Bring TWO Drafts:

1. Rs. 40,000: Admission fee and Development fee by Demand Draft in favour of Vidya Valley School (DD from any bank will be OK).
2. Rs. 15,000: Refundable Deposit by Demand Draft in favour of Vidya Valley School (DD from any bank will be OK)

We cannot accept cheques or cash. Please do not ask us.

We will happy if we can complete this by Wednesday, 27th, so that we can invite the second list of anxious children.

Birth Certificate

You need to submit a Notarised and Laminated copy of the birth certificate. You must bring the ORIGINAL to show us while submitting the laminated copy. But we will NOT keep the original.

Why laminated? Because we have to keep it for 20 years!

What Else?

You have to open an account in AXIS Bank. An existing account is fine. We have called an officer of the Bank to be present here to talk with you and help you open an account. You need to carry the following documents:

1. ID Proof : (PAN Card  or Passport  or Election Card)
2. Residence Proof: Passport or Electricity or telephone bill
3. Photographs: Two
4. Payment by: Cheque in favour of yourself (- your own name) from your own account in any bank or cash

You should be prepared to deposit Rs. 6,000/- in your own bank account to cover the minimum deposit amount plus some costs. Talk to the bank officer on these matters.

Future school fees will be debited from this account, starting in June. Bus fee will be debited in July.
